Oscar Aranda Carrasco was brought into the world December 22, 1934, to Elisardo Aranda and Juliana Carrasco Aranda in El Pueblito, Chihuahua, Mexico. Oscar passed away on November 3, 2023, in Hobbs, New Mexico surrounded by his loved ones.
Oscar lived a good life. He worked hard, loved his family, and loved training horses. He was not a man that would share his feelings often, but you knew how he felt through his actions. He was proud of his children and would tell everyone but them how much so. He loved his grandchildren very much. Oscar enjoyed every minute spent with them. Oscar worked as a feed lot supervisor. He trained Quarter Horses and that was his passion. Oscar had a very particular routine with his horses, things were always done just so. There was a procedure for each task when it came to the training and care of his horses. He would go so far as to sit at the stalls and swat flies away from them and their food. If that is not dedication, I don’t know what is!
Oscar is preceded in death by his loving wife Beatrice, and his sons Sergio and Oscar M Aranda.
Oscar is survived by his sons Alonzo Aranda and Arturo Aranda, daughters Martha Bautista and Aide Tarin, sister Eva Smith and brothers Arturo Aranda, Efrain Aranda, and Albino Aranda, and 10 grandchildren.
