Refugio Madrid

Refugio Maria Madrid passed away in Hobbs New Mexico on July 22, 2021 at the age of 88.

She was born on 2/18/1933 to Ignacio Mata and Carmen Carbajal in Mexico. Throughout the course of her life she became known for her dedication to her church, love of dancing, puzzles, and most of all her children. Preceding her in passing is her husband Jose Madrid as well as her parents. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children Hector Mata, Raul Madrid, Ruben Madrid, Rene Madrid, Ricardo Madrid, Beatriz Butler, and Norma Faught. Her siblings Josefina Carlos, Dolores Armagnac, Catalina Escobedo, Ernesto Armagnac, and Raymundo Armagnac. As well as seventeen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be on 7/27/2021 at 5:30pm at Griffin Funeral Home in Hobbs New Mexico.
