Rosie Naegele

Rosie Mary Naegele (Rosemary) was born in Artesia, to Rita N. Olivarez and Hugo Naegele Sr. on June 12, 1957 and passed away on February 18, 2017 in Hobbs, New Mexico, where she resided most of her life.
Rosemary was a very strong minded woman who made an impact on many lives. She retired from the New Mexico Court Systems as a court administrator after 30 plus years. She was a member of the New Mexico Clerks Association. She was currently employed with New Mexico Junior College Counseling Department, where she impacted not only her co-workers lives, but the students as well.
Rosemary loved her Hobbs Eagles and was a season ticket holder for years, and made it a point to be at all home games. She was also a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Rosemary was a devoted parishioner of St. Helena Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Mary's Circle and the Altar Society. She fulfilled her life here on earth, and is on her way to her next journey. Rosemary was blessed and honored to be able to go to the Holy Land, and have two visitations to see Pope Francis.
She was preceded in death by her father Hugo Naegele Sr.; mother, Rita N. Olivarez and a nephew, Albert Gonzalez Jr. Survivors include; her Step-Father Jose Olivarez of Hobbs. 5 sisters, Betty Naegele Casarez (Carlos) of Midland, TX, Hugo Naegele Jr. (Brenda); Norma Hernandez (Junior); Margie Valverde (Randy); Cindy H. Murillo (David) all of Hobbs, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Joseph Naegele, Ryan Herrera, Brooks Beard, DJ Valverde, Cody Valverde and James Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers are Eliseo Lopez (Coco) and Luke Gonzalez.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM, Friday, February 24, 2017 at St. Helena Catholic Church with Reverend Ricardo Bauza, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. A rosary will be recited at 7 PM, Thursday February 23, 2017 at St. Helena Catholic Church.
