Ruby Gonzalez

Ruby Gonzalez, 43, beloved friend, sister, mother and wife was born in Artesia, New Mexico to Armando Villalobos and Elida Rincon on November 30, 1976. Ruby passed away Saturday, August 01, 2020 in Hobbs, New Mexico. She was a graduate of Hobbs High and soon a paralegal before getting married to the love of her life on September 9, 2000. Soon after, they had two children, Braylan and Madelyn. Ruby left her paralegal days to care for her family. Together with their children, hunting was their greatest hobby. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Fermin Gonzalez; son, Braylan Gonzalez; and daughter, Madelyn Gonzalez. Also left to cherish her memory are her parents; brother, Edmar Villalobos; sisters-in-law, Nancy Berumen, Evelina Berumen and Cynthia Gonzalez; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00PM-5:00PM with a Vigil/Rosary to be begin at 4:00PM, Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Griffin Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00PM, Friday, August 7, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Ringo Perea to officiate. Interment will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Pallbearers to serve will be Fernando Salcido, Gabriel Sosa, Jimmy Berumen Jr., Jovanni Berumen, Jordan Berumen, Octavio Berumen.
