Santos Peña Sr., 72 was born on Sunday October 9, 1949, to Jose and Sara Peña in Laredo, TX.
A loving husband, father, grandpa "Popo", brother, and uncle; Santos gained his wings on Thursday March 3rd, 2022, surrounded by his family at home in Hobbs NM. Santos Married the love of his life Patricia "Pat" Ornelas on Sunday July 2, 1978, during that time they raised the most precious gift god could have given them and that was their four sons Santos Jr, Tony, Joe and Adam.
He worked for ABC Machine Shop for 22yrs were he retired. In his younger years he loved to BBQ and watch his Denver Broncos play. One of the things he loved the most, was to play poker with all his brothers. The bond that they all had was unbreakable regardless of the outcome on their game. Then came his most precious biggest, and happiest moments his grandkids, and great grandkids, that he loved with his all.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Sara Peña; sons Joe and Adam Martinez, grandson Jose "JD" Martinez; brothers Ramon, George, David, Abraham, and Perfecto Peña; sisters Antonia Peña, Elena Quiroz, and Irene Ramirez.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Patricia "Pat" Peña; son’s Santos Peña Jr and Tony Flores, 10 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren; brothers Joe, Francisco "Poncho", Martin Peña; sisters Mary Reinhart, Sylvia Cruz and Sarah Lara and a host of nephews and nieces that he loved.
