Sharon Wade

Sharon L. Wade, 73, of Hobbs, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday August 27, 2016 in Hobbs. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Crosswinds Community Church with Pastor Brad Reimers, officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 PM (CST), Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.

Sharon was born on March 15, 1943 in Salem, IL to Harold and Ruth Knapp. She married Moody Wade in Muskogee, OK and they celebrated over 20 years of marriage before his death in 2004. Sharon resided in Hobbs the last few years and was active with Crosswinds Community Church. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed painting and working with crafts. Sharon enjoyed playing the piano, the organ and her keyboard. She loved to fish, but her true love was being with her family. Sharon was preceded in death by parents and husband.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Bryant of Katy, Texas and Richard Bryant of Arlington, Texas; brother, Gary Knapp and wife, Pat of Hobbs; grandchildren, Mark and Jacob Bryant of Katy, Texas and nephews Bryan and Jerry Knapp of Hobbs.
