Sofia Astorga

Sofia Astorga, 45, of Hobbs, passed away, Wednesday, December 2, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, December 5, 2015 at St. Helena Catholic Church with Reverend Richard Bauza, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00-7:00 PM, Friday with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 PM at Griffin Funeral Home.

Sofia was born on September 18, 1970 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to Cesareo and Maria Astorga. She enjoyed watching Mexican League Soccer. Sofia would always light up the room with her smile.

Survivors include her parents; sisters, Esperanza Astorga, Anna Alvarado, Eva Astorga and Leticia Tovar; brothers, Eleazar Astorga, Juan Jose Astorga, Victor Astorga and Oscar Astorga and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
