Stanley Benson

Stanley Benson, 82, of Hobbs, NM passed away at home on May 2, 2018. Stanley was born on April 10, 1936 to Cleo and Ruth Benson in Denver, Colorado. He was a loving husband and father. Stanley also had a solid relationship with Jehovah God. His loyalty and faithfulness to his creator persisted to the end of his life. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents Cleo and Ruth Benson, a daughter, grandson and granddaughter.

Stanley is survived by his wife Leola Benson of Hobbs; daughters Renee Benson and her two daughters of Denver, CO, Veronica Foster and her son Andre of Hobbs and Sonya Benson and her son Kai of San Antonio, TX; son Stanley Benson Jr. and his son Marqualo of Hobbs and daughter Christy Heckard (Kenneth) and their children Ke'Ondre and Ke'Ahzanae of Dallas, TX; three other grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and other relatives. He is also survived by special friends Fidel Calderon, Danny Leos, and Omar.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Elder Lorenzo Camacho officiating.
