Tony Vasquez, Jr

Tony C. Vasquez, Jr. 37, of Hobbs, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 in Hobbs. Funeral services will be11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at New Life Fellowship, 707 W. Church, with Pastor Rudy Reyes, officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens. Services are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.

Mr. Vasquez was born on September 28, 1975 in Hanford, California to Tony and Adela Vasquez, Sr. He married Maria Luisa Gomez on April 30, 1998 in Lovington and they celebrated over 22 wonderful years together. He enjoyed spending time at the lake with his kids, wife and family riding his Harley, driving his truck, jet skiing and having cookouts. Tony loved taking Luisa for drives in the thunderstorms. He enjoyed djaying as 2Tone. Tony always was ready to lend a hand to anyone that needed it was a very hardworking man and loved his job. He was always laughing, joking and always had a smile on his face. Tony was very loving, caring and will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family. He was preceded death by his father, Tony Anthony Vasquez, Sr., grandfather, Luis Chaves, grandmother, Natividad Urias, uncle, Manuel Chavez and aunt, Alfida Chaves

Survivors include his wife, Maria Luisa Vasquez daughter, Liana Vasquez son, Tony Vasquez, III mother, Adela Chavez sister, Vicky Vasquez Herrera, brothers, Jimmy Vasquez, Joe Vasquez, Kevin Vasquez and Tommy Vasquez and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
