Vernardo Ojeda

Our beloved Vernardo (Vern) Ojeda has gone home to Heaven on February 10, 2020. Vern was a hard-working, loving family man. He enjoyed taking his kids fishing, family time and playing video games; especially Call of Duty. Vern was a life-long Broncos fan. He loved hard, his wife and their children were his pride and joy.

Vern is preceded in death by his father, Jesus M. Ojeda Sr., his maternal grandparents, Angela Hernandez & Hijino Vallianueva, and his sister, Gloria Monserrat Ojeda.

Left to treasure his memory always are his wife, Shellby, Daughters, Layla, Yulasie and his sons, Vernardo Jr., and CJ, his mother Maria Villanueva, siblings; Jesse Ojeda, Oscar Ojeda, Manuela Lara, Hortencia Villegas, Alex Ojeda, and Anadelia De La Rosa, mother-in-love, Cathy & Jeff Hines, in-laws Pam & Jack Love, sister-in-law LeAnn Fierro, brother in law Jason Morgan, and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at First United Methodist Church Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 1pm with burial following at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be held at  Griffin Funeral Home on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 5-7pm, with a rosary to be recited at 6pm.
