William Frank Holder

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Bill Holder, age 82 on January 4, 2024.

Bill was raised in Eunice, NM, graduating with the Eunice High School class of 1959. He was a lifelong supporter of the Eunice Cardinals. After returning from the Denton County Sheriff’s Department, he could often be found supporting the Eunice Cardinals Football Team. Along with being a Eunice Cardinal fan he was a lifelong fan of the Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. Bill was a huge football fan and could recite stats, wins, and loses of his favorite players and teams going as far back as his own high school football days to current times.

Bill is proceeded in death by his parents Oran Holder and Margaret Holder, sister Marilyn and Paula, brothers, Jim, Ronnie and Dewight, first wife Norma Graves Holder, passing in 2004. He is survived by wife Vicky Holder of Lubbock, TX, nephews Paul McHam wife Ronnett of Georgia, Doug McHam wife Larissa of Nevada, stepchildren, Eric Armijo, Amy Frazier and Jennifer Armijo, fur babies Sam and Max, grandchildren Zachary, Gavin, Malia and Karina.

Bill was a friend to all and will dearly be missed.
