God opened Heaven’s Gates to receive into his arms William Walter Williams on August 24, 2023. William (Little Walt) Walter Williams was born in Hobbs, New Mexico September 15, 1957, to Walter C. and Josie Williams. He was the youngest of four children. William is survived by his loving and devoted wife of thirteen years Kathy Williams, a stepson Shane (Allison) Huffman of Midland, Texas, sisters Mary S. Sosa, and Sharon Gail Wedgewood, uncle Cleo Williams, aunt Virginia Ruth, 2 brothers-in-law, James Selby of Hobbs, NM and Chris (Pam) Morphew of Midland, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
William was proceeded in death by his parents Walter C Williams and Josie Williams, brothers, Julian J. Oliver, and Rudy Navarette, uncles Wayne, Jesse, Charles Jr., Leslie, Cabel, and Manual, Aunts Mary, Stella, Elizabeth, and Gertrude.
William (Little Walt) was a life-long resident of Hobbs. He served in the Army. William was a friendly, loving person who loved his family. William (Little Walt) was an avid chess player, who enjoyed watching baseball, basketball, and football. William (Little Walt) never knew anyone who wasn’t his friend. He will be truly missed, but he will always be remembered for his friendly personality.
