Zachary Jarrel

Zachary Scott Jarrel, born March 13, 1981 to Dwight and Terry Jarrel passed away on July 1, 2020 in Hobbs, New Mexico. A graveside service in his honor will be held on July 14, 2020 10 am at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Zac was a gentle soul at his core, always helping others with fixing up their cars or just being a quiet ear to listen. While he was a very independent person, he wanted to make those around him happy, especially his mother. Four years ago, Zac moved back to Hobbs from Austin, Texas to help take care of his Mom. He always went out of his way to make sure his mom was taken care of. Zac was also an accomplished musician, playing his guitar at a professional level. He influenced so many lives through his passion of music. His captivating smile, quiet presence and caring soul will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.

Zac is preceded in passing by his Grandparents Garland and Peggy Jarrel and Vernon and Emner Smith. His is also preceded in passing by his father Dwight Jarrel.

Left to treasure his memory are his mother, Terry Jarrel, brothers Garland and Dusty Jarrel, 2 nieces and a host of extended family and friends.
